Physician Bio's

Timothy Walter, M.D.
Timothy J. Walter M.D. completed his under-graduate work
at Stanford University. He then received his medical
degree from The Ohio State University College of
Medicine, where he graduated cum laude and in the Alpha
Omega Alpha honor society. He went on to do his
residency in Neurology at Georgetown University Hospital
and fellowship in Sleep Medicine and Neurophysiology at
The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He started the sleep
medicine program at Grant Medical Center and served as
the first medical director there. He has also served as
the medical director of the sleep lab at Berger Medical
Center. He is board certified in Neurology and Sleep
Medicine. He is the author of a book on sleep and memory
written for the general public entitled “REM
Illumination Memory Consolidation”. He is currently the
co-Medical Director of Capitol Sleep Medicine Sleep
Diagnostic Center at Grove City.

Uma Marar, M.D.
Dr. Uma Marar received her medical degree and trained in
Anesthesiology at the Kettering General Hospital, UK and
is a diplomat of the Royal College of Anesthesiologists,
UK. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at
The Ohio State University Hospitals. She has served as
Clinical Assistant Professor in the department of
Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University. She is
board certified in Internal Medicine and Sleep Medicine.
She has served as the first medical director of the
Columbus Sleep Consultants Sleep Diagnostic Center at
Knighstbridge and is currently the co-Medical Director
of Capitol Sleep Medicine Sleep Diagnostic Center at
Grove City
